How to use Spin the Wheel
- Type options in the Entries panel — or load a ready-made wheel.
- Press SPIN (or Space) and wait for the wheel to slow down.
- Celebrate the winner, remove it for the next round, or share the wheel link.
How it works
Each spin picks an entry at random using your browser’s built-in cryptographic random number generator. Every unique entry has an equal chance unless you add duplicates to weight an option.
Common use cases
- Choose what to eat tonight
- Pick a classroom volunteer
- Decide who goes first
- Select a giveaway winner
- Settle a group debate fairly
Frequently asked questions
Is the wheel really random?
Yes. Spins use the Web Crypto API in your browser, so outcomes are not a predictable sequence.
Can I make one option more likely?
Add the same entry more than once — two “Pizza” slices roughly doubles its chance.
How do I share my wheel?
Press Share. The link recreates the same options for anyone who opens it. Shared links are for convenience and are not separate indexed pages.
